Quick Answer
I build AI-powered growth systems for local service businesses. That means running four channels as one connected system: Local SEO and Google Business Profile, Google and Meta Ads, a website that converts, and visibility inside AI answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews). I use AI agents built on Claude Code to run the repetitive work, and I test every system on my own business before I recommend it. And I work directly with the owner, wherever the business is based.

If you have landed on my blog, you are probably weighing up whether I am the right person to help your business get found and get calls. So here is a plain answer to the question I get most: what do I actually do? I build and run AI-powered growth systems for local service businesses. Not one-off tasks, and not a single channel in isolation, but the whole system that turns being visible into a phone that rings.

The one idea behind everything I do

Most local businesses buy marketing in pieces. An SEO here, an ads person there, a web designer who disappeared after launch, and nobody watching whether AI tools even mention the business. Each piece can look fine on its own while the business still does not get calls, because the pieces were never wired together.

My work starts from the opposite view. Ranking is not the same as revenue, and visibility is not the same as being chosen. What matters is the full path a customer takes: they search or ask an AI, they see your business, they trust it enough to click or call, and your website turns that click into a booking. I build that path as one system, so the channels reinforce each other instead of leaking customers between the gaps.

The domains I cover

There are four channels I run, plus the automation layer that keeps them all moving. Here is what each one is for and what it looks like when it is working.

DomainWhat it fixesWhat it looks like working
Local SEO & GBPNot showing in Maps or near-me searchesRanking in the Map Pack for the suburbs you serve
Google & Meta AdsExpensive clicks, few booked jobsAds that amplify a system already converting
Website & conversionTraffic arrives but nobody callsPages built to turn a visit into a booking
AEO / GEO (AI search)AI tools never mention your businessCited in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews
Automation & AI agentsManual work eating the whole budgetAgents running audits, research, and reporting

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

This is the foundation for any business that serves a local area. I work on the Google Business Profile, categories, reviews and review velocity, local citations, and the on-page and suburb-level structure that decides whether you appear in the Map Pack. For most service businesses this is the highest-value channel, because the Map Pack sits above everything else and converts. You can read my Local SEO service page or the guide on what Local SEO is for the full picture.

Google Ads and Meta Ads

Ads are the fastest way to get in front of buyers, but they only pay off when the rest of the system is ready. I build and manage local search, Performance Max, and Meta campaigns, and I increasingly run the repetitive parts (negative keywords, bid checks, copy refresh) as agent-assisted workflows. Ads amplify a system that already converts. Poured onto a leaky website, they mostly amplify the leak.

Website and conversion

A website is where every channel cashes out. I build fast, clear pages that load quickly, answer the question the visitor arrived with, and make it obvious how to call or book. Design that looks good but does not convert is a cost, not an asset.

AEO and GEO: visibility inside AI answers

More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews before they ever scroll a normal results page. Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation are about being the source those tools cite. It draws on the same signals as Local SEO, the Business Profile, reviews, citations, and clean structured data, plus answer-ready content. My AEO and GEO service exists because this is where local discovery is heading.

Automation and AI agents

This is the layer that makes the rest sustainable. I build AI agents on Claude Code that run audits, keyword and entity research, reporting, and on-page checks as repeatable workflows. That is what I mean by agentic SEO: instead of a manual task list, the workflow runs as a loop, audit, diagnose, ship, and measure, and I stay on strategy. You can see the systems I have built on my AI systems page.

Who I help

My primary clients are local service business owners: clinics, dental practices, weight loss and healthcare, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, solar, transport, and multi-location brands. If your phone is quieter than it should be, your leads feel random, your ads feel expensive, or AI tools never seem to mention you, that is exactly the problem I solve.

I also write for a second group: SEO practitioners, agency owners, and operators moving into AI and automation who want to see what an agent-run SEO and Ads stack actually looks like day to day. I work directly with the owner, wherever the business is based. No agency layers, no account managers, no hand-offs. The person who audits your business is the person who does the work.

Why I work the way I do

I run every system on my own business before I recommend it to yours. My own SEO, my own ads, and my own reporting all run through the same Claude Code agents I would build for a client. I document that journey publicly, so the proof is the work, not the pitch.

That approach shows up in client outcomes. An HVAC company in the United States saw a large jump in organic traffic and doubled Google Business Profile calls inside the engagement month, and started being cited across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. A transport client in Brisbane logged thousands of Business Profile calls and hundreds of AI citations over a year. A healthcare client in Perth reached the top of the local map across most of the metro area. I am careful with language here on purpose. I cannot promise a ranking or an AI citation, and neither can anyone else. What I can do is run the systems that move the signals, and show the numbers as they change. You can see more on my portfolio.

Where to start

If any of this sounds like your situation, the simplest next step is a free audit. I will look at your Google Business Profile, your website, your ads if you run them, and whether AI tools mention you, then tell you where the biggest gap is. No obligation, and no pressure. This blog updates regularly with what I am building and what is changing in AI search, so it is also a good place to follow along if you are not ready to talk yet.

How should you verify and apply this advice?

An AI agent should be evaluated as a controlled business process, not as a model demo. Define the job, available tools, approval points, failure state, and evidence the agent must return. Start with a reversible workflow where a person can review the output before the system changes customer or campaign data.

Check the primary documentation

I use the following primary references as the verification layer for this topic. They define the platform rules and terminology behind Artificial intelligence, Intelligent agent, Software agent, Business process automation, Marketing automation, Large language model, Application programming interface, Human-in-the-loop. Check them again before acting on a feature, price, or eligibility rule because platform documentation can change.

Turn the guidance into a measured test

Measure completion accuracy, exception rate, human review time, cost per completed run, and the business metric the workflow is meant to improve. Keep a manual fallback and an audit log. Expand autonomy only after the same workflow succeeds repeatedly under the stated guardrails.

  1. Write down the current baseline and the decision you want the test to inform.
  2. Change one connected group of inputs and record the implementation date.
  3. Measure quality and business outcomes, not activity counts alone.
  4. Keep, revise, or reverse the change based on the recorded evidence.

Keep a decision record

  • The source and date behind the recommendation.
  • The baseline, implementation date, and expected observation window.
  • The metric that would support keeping, revising, or reversing the change.

What should a connected growth system measure?

A connected growth system needs one measurement chain from visibility to commercial outcome. I start with impressions and qualified visibility, then follow the path through clicks or calls, website actions, qualified enquiries, booked work, and retained value. A channel can look healthy at the top while leaking value at the next step, so I do not judge SEO, ads, reviews, or a website in isolation.

Separate leading signals from business outcomes

Rankings, AI mentions, click-through rate, and cost per click are leading signals. They help diagnose where the system is gaining or losing attention. Qualified calls, booked appointments, sales quality, and repeat business are outcomes. Both matter, but they answer different questions. A ranking change can explain a fall in calls; it cannot prove revenue impact without the rest of the chain.

Use one operating review

I bring the channels into one review instead of handing the owner four unrelated reports. The review asks where demand appeared, which source earned trust, what the visitor did next, which enquiries were suitable, and what should change before the next cycle. That makes the work easier to prioritise because every action has to connect to a visible gap in the customer path.

  • Keep one definition of a qualified enquiry across every channel.
  • Record assisted conversions when several touchpoints influenced the decision.
  • Review lost calls and weak landing pages before buying more traffic.
  • Document each material change so later comparisons remain meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an AI local SEO consultant actually do?

I help a local business turn visibility into calls by running four channels as one system: Local SEO and the Google Business Profile, Google and Meta Ads, a website that converts, and visibility inside AI answers. I use AI agents to run the repetitive work, so more of your budget goes into strategy.

Which services do you offer?

Local SEO and Google Business Profile, Semantic SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, website design and conversion, Shopify SEO, and AEO and GEO for AI search. I also build the automations and AI agents that keep those systems running.

What is agentic SEO and how is it different?

Agentic SEO runs the SEO workflow as an agent loop, audit, diagnose, ship, and measure, instead of a manual task list. I specify the outcome in plain language, agents handle the execution, and the work comes back with receipts. It sits on top of Local SEO and AEO rather than replacing them.

Do you promise rankings or results?

No. Nobody can honestly promise a Google ranking or an AI citation. I run the systems that move the signals search and AI engines reward, and I show the work and the numbers as they change. My own business is the first place every system is tested.

How long should I measure a connected growth system before changing it?

Use a review window that matches the channel and the amount of data available. Paid campaigns can show direction sooner than organic search, while booked-work quality may take longer to confirm. I record the baseline and change date, avoid overlapping tests, and wait for enough comparable enquiries to make a sound decision.
