Does AI recommend your business?

Some of your buyers now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI before they search. This guided check has you ask six AI engines about your business in a few minutes, then scores what you find.

About this check

Questions owners ask

How the check works, and how to read it honestly.

How does the AI visibility check work?

You enter your business, service, and city. The page writes three questions a buyer would ask, such as "best emergency plumber in Parramatta", and gives you one-tap links that open ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google search, and Copilot with the question already filled in. For Gemini you copy and paste it. You record whether each engine named your business or linked your website, and the page scores the result and suggests what to fix first.

Why do I ask the engines myself?

Because that is how your buyers see them. AI answers depend on location and change from day to day, so asking from your own browser, where you are, gives you a truer picture than a report run from somewhere else. It also keeps the check free.

What is the difference between named and linked?

Named means your business appears in the answer text. Linked means the answer lists your website as a source. An engine can do one without the other. Both matter, but a link to your site is the stronger signal.

Why did I get a different answer from last time?

AI answers are not fixed. The same question can produce a different answer and different sources from one day to the next. Treat one check as a snapshot, and repeat it every few weeks to see the pattern.

Why does AI name directories instead of businesses?

AI engines often lean on directories, review sites, and forums for local questions. That is useful to know: getting properly listed on a directory the engines already trust is usually quicker than outranking it.

How do I get AI engines to recommend my business?

There is no switch to flip. The engines draw on sources they already trust: a complete Google Business Profile, consistent listings on the directories they cite, steady reviews, and website pages that answer buyer questions plainly. No one can promise an AI engine will recommend you.
